Country Home with PUFF's of cotton...

Hello everyone!  GOLLY...it was COLD this morning...26 degrees!!  It's a BEAUTIFUL fall day and I'm loving it!  I think I'm one of the minority of people who have power in California as the power has been shut off to many places because of high winds and fire threats.  I'm glad I have a generator (but I need to learn how to hook it  up) just in case!!  I'm heading to Weed today for a volleyball game....sure do hope they have power!!

Today's card is another one from my October classes!  It's created with the Country Home stamp set and uses the new Snowfall Accents Puff Paint on the cotton balls.  These are FUN to use....simple add a little dot in each cotton ball, heat it with your heat gun and watch it PUFF!!!  COOL!!

The card base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock. The Early Espresso layer is 2 7/8" X 4 7/8" and the stamped layer is 2 3/4" X 4 3/4".  The pitcher is stamped with Granny Apple Green ink then colored with a Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend.  The floral arrangement is stamped with Gray Granite ink then colored with Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.  Last...we PUFFED the cotton balls!

Country Lane - FUN FALL CARD

Hello...hello!  I'm was up early to get my daughter down the mountain to the Orthodontist and I had a Mammogram today...left at 7am!  Now I'm home for a volleyball game!  Another busy day! 

I had my first October class last night with eight great ladies!  It's always fun for me to get together with them!  Today, I want to share one of the cards we made!

This FUN FALL card has a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" Early Espresso card base with a 5 3/8" X 4 1/8" Whisper White first layer!  On top of that is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Country Lane designer paper.  The Whisper White circle is cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The sentiment is from the Country Home stamp set and in stamped in Soft Suede ink.  I created the pumpkin by cutting three circles using the smallest Stitched Shapes Circle die.  Before distressing the edges with Early Espresso in and a dauber, I gave the some texture with the Subtle Embossing Folder. The leaves are punched from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock using the Sprig Punch and is also distressed with Early Espresso ink.  The circle is attached with dimensionals and so is the pumpkin!

"Make-It Monday" Country Home Box

Hello everyone!  Happy OCTOBER!!! WOW...that came fast!!!  How's your Monday?  I hope your weekend was TERRIFIC! I returned home late last night from a wonderful five day retreat in the Palomar Mountains of San Diego County.  It's was such a beautiful place to be with a group of great ladies.  I was able to get a lot of creating done and I'm eager to share it with you! I have some Stampin' UP! news to share with you but I have a hair appointment in five minutes...so be sure to come back by this afternoon!

Today is Monday...and you know what that means!  It's "Make-It Monday" time!!

• Other: Silver Mini Gable Box (145568), Banner Triple Punch (138292), Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (133324), Braided Linen Trim (147808), Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (147906), Stitched Shapes Framelits (145372), Big Shot (143263), Sprig Punch (148012), SNAIL Adhesive (104332)

       
Measurements: 

• Shimmery White: 2 3/4” x 3 3/4”
• Old Olive: scrap
• Designer Paper: 5 1/4” x 2”

Instructions:

1. Place the flat gable box in the embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot.
2. Use the Stitched Shapes framelit to cut an oval from the Shimmery White cardstock.
3. Using Memento Black ink, stamp the images onto the Shimmery White oval.
4. Color as shown using the Stampin’ Blends listed above.
5. Punch each end of the designer paper to make a tag - one with the Scalloped Tag Topper and the other with Banner Triple.
6. Using the scrap of Old Olive, punch out two sets of sprigs and attach them to the tag. Then attach the oval to the tag.
7. Use the Braided Linen Trim to attach the tag to the box.

Country Home

Good Morning...good morning!  I'm at my retreat...enjoying friends and getting lots of things created and ORGANIZED...I hope!  

I have a QUICK post today...it's a card I received in the mail from my Upline, Sarah Wills at Sarah's Ink Spot ....you're gonna love it!!

Isn't it just BEAUTIFUL!  Sarah used the Country Home stamp set, along with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and the Leaf Punch!  

I LOVE the milk can in the stamp set and it's colored perfectly for this card!!

Ok...back to work for me...well...not really work, but lots of fun!
