Happy Birthday - Big Shot Embossing Mats

Hello everyone!  Happy Thursday!  I hope you are all well!  I have a bit up a tummy ache this morning...ughh!  Hope it passes soon! I'm gonna quickly blog so I can go lay down for a bit!
Here's a FUN card I made for Manly Monday...a challenge we do on a team Facebook page.  I used the Happy Birthday Thinlit along with the new Big Shot Embossing Mats!  These mats are COOL and a great addition to the Big Shot.  They turn framelits and thinlits into embossing folders!  I also used the Striped Scallops embossing folder on the Coastal Cabana background piece of cardstock.  The balloons are punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch from Basic Black cardstock and Share What You Love designer paper! The colors are Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Old Olive and Basic Black.  Super cute and super easy card to make!

Hey...thanks BUNCHES for stopping by!  Have a FANTASTIC day!  The weekend is almost here...YAY!!!

"Make'It Monday" Silver Mini Gable Box

Hello there everyone!  Happy Monday!  How was your weekend?  Did you get all of your chores done and find time to create?  I didn't...but for FUN reasons!  On Saturday I went to a Scan & Cut class that a team member taught down in Fair Oaks.  What a BEAUTIFUL place!  My youngest daughter went with me...not for the class but to hang out with her oldest sister and oldest brother!  They went to Top Golf and had lots of fun.  My class was TERRIFIC!  I can't wait to play with my machine!  After class was over I met up with the kids and we had some sushi and went to a really groovy ice cream shop called The Parlor - Ice Cream Puffs.  Well...the puffs were donuts sliced in half. We each picked which flavor of ice cream we wanted to put in the middle...viola...ICE CREAM SANDWICH!  YUM!  Sunday, after church, we had to go to Redding to get a vanity, a window, a light...and more goodies for my new workshop bathroom! I'm SOOOO EXCITED!

Today...I worked in the yard all morning (after a pedicure), before it got to hot.  The leaves are all raked and ready to take to the dump.  Tomorrow I hope to shop for flowers and plant!  YAY!!

I have a FUN "Make-It Monday" to share with you today!  I'm also participating in a Facebook Hop tonight with a Mother's Day Theme, so try to follow along on my Facebook Page.

A Little Wild Birthday!

Good Morning everyone! Happy DECEMBER!!! Oh my...oh my...I'm doing my preorder from the upcoming Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration and I am SOOOO EXCITED! There are so many FUN new products! My head is swirling with ideas! The Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration goes live on January 3, 2018!! This  means the Holiday Catalog ends January 2, 2018! You can see what is DISCOUNTED and RETIRING by clicking on the Year-End Sales Event photo below!

Can you believe it's December 1st already! I was laying in bed and heard my daughter tell her dad that there are only 25 days left...which really means 24 days left...and in my case (because I like to shop online...except for the local things I buy)...that means less than 20 days left....UGH!!! I'm hoping to get our tree tomorrow. We go into the forest and cut one down, but it might snow...so we'll have to see...my husband might be called out if the power goes out!

Today I want to share a cute birthday card I made the other day!

This fun card has a Whisper White cardbase. It's first layer is Basic Gray and the second layer is from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Paper Series.  I used my Stitched Framelits to cut an oval and sponged a Bermuda Bay sky on the top. The grass is cut by hand. I used the Little Loves framelits to cut the adorable elephant...after I had stamped it with the A Little Wild stamp set.  The elephant is attached with dimensionals. The balloons are punched with the Balloon Boquet punch and embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder (remember my Tuesday's Tip video this week?!) The balloons are also attached with dimensional and the Whisper White Bakers Twine strings are tucked behind the elephant. I was hoping it would look like the cute little guy was holding them!  Last I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment and added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels! This went to a little girl in my church...I LOVE it and hope she did too!

That's it for today! Thanks so much for stoppingby!  Have a FANTASTIC day and weekend! Work a little...play a little and CREATE a little...A GOOD BALANCE!!

Tuesday's Tip - Emboss for texture and dimension!!

Good Morning everyone and WELCOME to Tuesday's Tip! I hope you are all well and doing something fun, inspiring or motivational today! I'm heading out to my workshop to clean it up and get started on my December class projects!  I love being out there creating...but NOT when its a crazy disaster! I need a little bit of order when I create...which in turn ends up in complete chaos! My goal today is to put my stamps back in their boxes and the framelits back in their cases!  Maybe I can even get my inks put away! What I need is a cleaning fairy to arrive every evening to organize my mess...just like the little elves who arrived every night and made shoes for the shoemaker!  A girl can dream can't she!?!?!

Here is my Tuesday's Tip Video...I hope it inspires you to use your BigShot to emboss and add texture to your projects!  ENJOY!!

Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by today!  Have a TERRIFIC rest of your day! I hope you find time to do just a bit of CREATING today!  HAVE FUN!!

Happy Celebrations and Stampin' Blends Markers

Good morning stampin' friends! I know it's Saturday and I don't normally post on Saturday's, but I wanted to share that third project I created with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers for our team FB challenge!

Here it is real quick and I'll let you get on with your weekend!

I started this card with a Whisper White card base. Layer #one is also Whisper White cardstock that has been dry embossed with the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder. The HAPPY is from the Happy Celebrations stamp set and is stamped on Glossy White cardsock using Memento Black ink. It is colored with the Light and Dark Bermuda Bay Blends markers. I hope you can see the ombre effect! Last I punched balloons using the Balloon Bouquet punch and embossed them with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  The colors I chose for the balloons are Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Bermuda Bay...they go terrific together!!! The balloons are attached using dimensionals with a piece of Black Bakers Twine attached to each one.  They are tied together at the bottom with another piece of Black Bakers Twine.

Here's what I used!

One of the things I love about this card is that it can be masculine or feminine...adult, teen or child...it's just FUN and has LOTS of options! I hope you'll give it a try!!!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by on your weekend! I truly hope you find time to create today! I'm hoping to finish my OnStage swaps...I've already started packing! It's coming up quick and I am SO EXCITED!!!
