Good morning everyone! Happy Columbus Day! What a FUN treat for me...my husband and my kiddos are home today! I LOVE it when they are home! How was your weekend? Did you find any time to create? I didn't...I was to busy with kid stuff and driving! Living in the mountains is WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL...but we have to drive long distances for sports. It's worth it though so NO COMPLAINING from me!

Well...it's Monday and I have such a pretty "Make-It Monday" card to share with you today! It's created with one of my FAVORITE stamp sets! ENJOY!!
"Make-It Monday": ROOTED IN NATURE card created with Stampin' Up! products
Supplies:
• Stamps: Rooted In Nature (146479 Wood Mount, 146482 Clear Mount), Itty Bitty Greetings (146664 Wood Mount, 1496667 Clear Mount)
• Stamp Pads: Soft Suede (147115), Cajun Craze (147085), Crumb Cake (147116)
• Paper: Very Vanilla (101650), Early Espresso (119686), Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper (146338)
• Misc.: Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (145372), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (143263), Subtle Embossing Folder (143706), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), SNAIL Adhesive (104332)
Measurements:
• Very Vanilla: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”; 4” x 5 ¼”, 1 ¼” x 4”; scrap for greeting
• Early Espresso: 1 3/8” x 4”
• Nature’s Poem: ¼” x 4”
Instructions:
1. Emboss the vanilla strip for the center with the Subtle embossing folder.
2. Stamp the greeting on the scrap of vanilla and cut out the smallest stitched oval frame using the Big Shot.
3. In the upper right portion of the 4” x 5 ¼” Vanilla piece, stamp the trio of leaves stamp in Soft Suede ink and then stamp it a second time with out re-inking. Repeat these same steps in the lower left portion.
4. Ink up the stamp with many leaves in Cajun Craze. Stamp next to the trio of leaves in full ink, then stamp a second time without re-inking.
5. Stamp the smaller single leaf in Crumb Cake ink next to the Cajun leaves in both areas.
6. Mount the stamped piece on the folded card base.
7. Layer the embossed piece in the center over the leaves.
8. Layer the Nature’s Poem strip on the embossed piece.
9. Mount the greeting on a Dimensional and attach to the center of the card.
