Good morning everyone! It's another beautiful day in my neck of the woods! I had a terrific class yesterday with such a wonderful group of ladies! I LOVE WHAT I DO!!
This is the last of the four cards for my October classes. I used the Wishing You Well stamp set for the wreath and the Winter Woods stamp set for the trees. I also tried a unique layout...it was kind of fun. Here are the measurements!
Tranquil Tide Card Base 5 ½” X 11”
Layer 1 – Real Red 4” X 5”
Layer 2 – Smoky Slate 3 ¾” X 4 ¾”
Layer 3 – Whisper White 3 ½” X 4 ½”
I stamped on the Whisper White cardstock with Tranquil Tide ink. I achieved the darker and lighter look by inking up the stamp, stamping and then stamping again. The wreath is stamped on a Whisper White Stitched Shapes Circle. I stamped it twice, using the same technique as I did for the trees. (Gosh...I just realized I forgot to tell the ladies in my class that...SORRY LADIES!) I attached the wreath with dimensionals. Next I stamped the OH SO POPULAR BOW from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Real Red and cut it out by hand. I tied a double Linen Thread Bow, attached it with a glue dot to the bottom of the wreath then attached the Real Red bow on top with mini dimensionals. Don't forget to add some Red Rhinestones around your wreath...it really makes it POP!! I love how it turned out...it's very traditional and simple to make!
