Supplies:
- Stamp Set: Builder Birdcage (142891) and Falling Flowers (139556)
- Cardstock and Paper: Pear Pizzazz (131201), Shimmery White (101910), Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper (141648)
- Stampin’ Pad: Basic Black Archival (140931), Melon Mambo (126948) and Pear Pizzazz (131180)
- Miscellaneous: Melon Mambo Thick Baker’s Twine (141689), Pearl Basic Jewels (119247), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), and Paper Snips (103579)
Measurements:
- Pear Pizzazz: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2 then folded plus a scrap about 3” x ¾”
- Shimmery White: 2” x 5-1/2”
- Pop of Pink DSP: 5-1/2’ x ¾”
- Twine: about 18”
Instructions:
- Choose three images to build your birdcage and stamp each piece very closely to one another using Basic Black ink on Shimmery White card stock. Images should be touching one another to create a consistent birdcage. Position so that it is not centered but slightly more towards the bottom so your twine, later, will not cover up too much of the birdcage at the top.
- Using Melon Mambo ink, put both birds on one block so they are facing one another and touching. Once stamped, they will be a little bit apart and will fit in the birdcage well.
- Using SNAIL, adhere the Pop of Pink DSP strip to the back of the birdcage piece so that the DSP peeks out about 3/8”.
- Stamp large flourish image in Pear Pizzazz ink on the Pear Pizzazz card base so that the image is about ¼” from the right edge and centered between the top and bottom.
- Stamp sentiment on Pear Pizzazz scrap and create banner ends using Paper Snips so that finished piece is about ¾” x 2-1/2” at the longest
- Adhere birdcage and DSP piece to Pear Pizzazz card front using SNAIL so that birdcage piece is ¼” from left edge.
- Tie Melon Mambo twine around top of card, create bow and trim with Paper Snips
- Using Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere sentiment so it comes straight out from birdcage stand without covering it.
- Sprinkle pearls (or sequins or any other coordinating embellishment) on card base.
