High Tide

YIKES!!! I almost forgot to blog today! I met a dear friend for breakfast...she's leaving for a months vacation...and I had to go into work for a couple of hours! I came home to a sick husband and blogging slipped my mind! I have my March workshop projects to share with you the rest of the week! I hope they get you in the creative mood!

Here's one of my FAVORITE projects! I've been wanting to show my ladies how to use Heat & Stick powder and this was the perfect card!  I used the High Tide stamp set to create the water, the lighthouse, the words and the birds, but first I used it to add sand (yes...that's real sand) to my card! I stamped the sand with VersaMark...applied my Heat & Stick powder, used my heat gun to activate it (make it sticky). I used my heat gun again to set the sand in place.  It turned out perfect! I layered my stamped image on to a piece of Basic Black cardstock, then attached it to my card base. Last, I tied a piece of Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine around the card.

For the inside of the card I used the Heat & Stick powder again as well as the High Tide stamp set which includes the sand area, the birds and the grass!  It's a FABULOUS stamp set...I just LOVE IT! I hope you love it too!

That's it for today! Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by! Have a WONDERFUL rest of your day!
