Hello Friends! Well...I'm home now! I had a great birthday visit with my daughter and her husband! We had a wonderful dinner at a Louisiana style restaurant in Berkeley called Angeline's and saw a FANTASTIC baseball game! Today, I'm out in my shop putting things away, throwing things away and making a give away pile! The painting is finished so now I need to put it back together! I also need carpet, but I need to get organized FIRST!
I do have a project to share with you today! It's another card that we made at my March workshops! I hope you are INSPIRED to CREATE!!
The base of my card is Whisper White with the first layer being Night of Navy! Next I cut a circle out of a piece of Whisper White cardstock using my Stitched Circle framelits! Be sure to save the CUTE stitched circle for another project! I backed the piece of Whisper White cardstock with a 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" piece of Floral Boutique designer paper so it would show through the circle! I cut the flower using the Flourish thinlits...I LOVE these thinlits! The center is a Metal Rimmed Pearl. You can use any sentiment down in the corner...I needed a sympathy card so that is the sentiment I chose. It's a BEAUTIFUL card don't ya think?! SIMPLE too!
