Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop - It's a Guy Thing in Black & White

Hello  Everyone and welcome to tonight's Inpire, Create & Share Blog Hop!  Our theme is It's a Guy Thing in Black & White!  I hope you'll hop along with us!  There are 15 of us sharing our creations tonight so you'll find lots of GREAT ideas!

For my card I used the Stitched Nestled Labels Dies, the Natures Roots Dies and the Subtle Embossing Folder. I adhered the Basic Black tree to a piece of Whisper White cardstock that had been cut out with the Stitched Nestled Labels die and embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder then layered it onto a Basic Black piece of cardstock cut from the just larger Stitched Nestled Labels die.  It is attached to a 4" x 5 1/4" with dimensionals to a piece of Whisper White cardstock that has also been embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.  The bow is tied with Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and is heat embossed with VersaMark and White embossing powder! I love how it turned out!

Tuesday's Tip - Decorate that Envelope...Quick & Easy

Good Morning everyone and HAPPY Cinco de Mayo!  What are you having for dinner?  We're having street tacos, guacamole, refried beans and rice and I have SOMBREROS for everyone to wear!  I can't wait til dinner! 

Here's my Tuesday's Tip video!  It so quick an easy and I LOVE how the envelopes turn out! It really makes the cards EXTRA SPECIAL!

Here are the cards I made using the Timeless Tulips stamp set along with Bird Ballad Designer Paper.  I also used the ADORABLE Stitched So Sweetly dies for the sentiment and for the Pear Pizzazz layer behind it.  I attached it with dimensionals and added a cute little bow using Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.  I think they're so sweet and I LOVE the matching envelopes!

"Make-It Monday" Last a Lifetime

Hello everyone!  I've had a wonderful few days!  My adult kids have been home...we've played some cornhole and eaten some delicious food and today a couple of dear friends came for a visit!  How are all of you doing?  How are you holding up with the shelter in place?  I pray you are all hanging in there...I know it can be very depressing!  Hoping it comes to a safe end soon!

Hey...it's Monday and I have THREE "Make-it Monday" Tutorials to share with you today!  They are all cards created using the Last a Lifetime stamp set and they are beautiful!

"Make-It Monday" Last a Lifetime

Measurements: 

·Mint Macaron Card Base: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”

·Copper Foil: 4” x 5 ¼”

·Very Vanilla: 3 ¾” x 5”, 4” x 5 ¼”

·Very Vanilla scrap

            Instructions:

·Adhere Copper Foil layer to front of Mint Macaron cardbase.

·Adhere 4” x 5 ¼” Very Vanilla piece to inside.

·Run Very Vanilla through embossing folder leaving 1 ¼” at bottom.

·Stamp verse on smooth bottom of Very Vanilla with Saddle Brown Stazon. When stamped on Very Vanilla, the ink looks like copper.

·Wrap ribbon around Very Vanilla where embossing ends and adhere ends to back.

·Adhere embossed Very Vanilla layer to Copper Foil layer.

·Stamp flowers on Very Vanilla scrap, color with Stampin' Blends and cut out with dies.

·Adhere flowers to card using Dimensionals.

·Adhere rhinestones on Very Vanilla and in centers of flowers.

·Enjoy!

Measurements:

·         Whisper White Card Base – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”

Instructions:

1.     Cut Granny Apple Green layer with largest scalloped rectangle die.

2.    Cut Whisper White layer with the next largest scalloped rectangle die.

3.    Stamp sentiment and flowers in Gray Granite Ink onto white scalloped rectangle.

4.    Color flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blend Markers and highlight with color lifter.

5.    Separate Flax Ribbon into threads by cutting one edge and pulling apart.  Wrap three threads around corner and tie in bow.

6.    Attach stamped image to Granny Apple Green layer with dimensionals.

7.    Attach both layers to Whisper White card base with dimensionals.

• Die cut whisper white cardstock using the Lasting Elegance Dies and then attach to the coastal cabana using multipurpose glue.
• Adhere Daffodil Delight Ribbon over the Coastal Cabana/die layer
• Adhere to Crumb Cake card base.
• Use a scrap of Whisper White die cut a rectangle using the Stitched Rectangle Dies
• Stamp the sentiment from the Last A Lifetime stamp set

As a demonstrator, I have seen a PDF version of the new 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Catalog so I've been busy pulling what's retiring and organizing what's staying!  This cute stamp set is staying and I'm really happy! ·         Ink up portion of sentiment from Varied Vases stamp set with Lovely Lipstick ink and stamp on layer.

·         Tie approx.” linen thread in a bow. Adhere to card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

·         Adhere layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Instructions:

·         Score 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Mossy Meadow cardstock at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4, fold front flap back on itself to form the Z-fold card base.

·         Wrap Magnolia Lane green Ribbon Twine around small striped pattern DSP and tie a bow near the bottom.

·         Adhere striped DSP to left panel and floral print to inside panel.

·         Cut the Early Espresso 3x3 piece with the next to largest Stitched Shape Square.

·         On the 2-3/8 x 2-3/8 Whisper White, stamp the tree trunk with Early Espresso Ink towards left side, add Petal Pink blossoms and Mossy Meadow dots (leaves) to fill out tree. 

·         Stamp trio of birds with Early Espresso Ink towards right side top.

·         Stamp ground with Crumb Cake Ink, stamp wheelbarrow with Merry Merlot Ink, flowers with Petal Pink Ink several time and leaves in wheelbarrow with Mossy Meadow Ink.

·         Adhere stamped Whisper White piece to Early Espresso Stitched Shape and add Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to left side panel only on base card.

·         Add Gold Glitter Enamel Dot to wheel.

·         Add Wink of Stella to flowers in wheelbarrow and tree blossoms.

·         Stamp So Exciting with Early Espresso Ink on scrap Whisper White, punch with Classic Label Punch (shortened).  Add inside under panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

·         Stamp scene on 3” x 5-1/2” Whisper White – creek in Pool Party, grass in Granny Apple Green, tree trunks and bridge in Soft Suede, rocks in Basic Gray, tree leaves in Pear Pizzazz, clouds in Seaside Spray, tulip leaves in Old Olive and blossoms in Lovely Lipstick. Stamp greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black. Adhere scene to Granny Apple Green on card base.

·         Stamp wheel barrow (Basic Gray and Soft Suede) on small Whisper White Square. Stamp leaves (Granny Apple Green) and flowers (Lovely Lipstick) above wheel barrow. Cut with second smallest circle in Stitched Shapes Dies.

·         Punch Granny Apple Green square with 2” Circle Punch. Adhere stitched circle wheel barrow image to green mat. Punch Gold Foil square with Starburst Punch. Adhere behind Granny Apple Green circle.

·         Loop the Crumb Cake Nature’s Twine on lower right of card. Adhere wheel barrow image over twine with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
