Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Peaceful Christmas

Hello everyone and welcome to this evenings Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! This month's kit is so simple yet so pretty.  I'm going to make many of them into the cards that Stampin' Up! designed (with my own twist of course), but tonight I want to show you the luminary bag design that I created!

I used two of the Shaded Spruce cards cutting two inches off the ends of both (on the short side).  Next I used the Cabin dies to cut a tree through the card front and a 3" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock. I scored the cards at the same ends that I cut 2" from at 1/4" and attached them to each other with Tear & Tape, creating the bag.  To make the bottom of the bag I cut a 4 3/4" x 2 1/2" piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock and scored it at 1/4" on all sides, folding up the sides to make a box to add to the luminary bag (also with Tear & Tape). I embossed the Basic White cardstock (after cutting the tree out) with the Wintry 3D embossing folder and attached it to the bag.  The luminary is decorated with the vellum trees, the Real Red banner and the word Noel, all from the Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Last, I added two more trees beneath the vellum.  These trees were cut from the 2" strips of card that was I cut earlier.

I added a battery operated candle to the inside of the bag!

Here it is illuminated!
