"Make-It Monday" - Waterfront

Hello Everyone! HAPPY JUNE! Can you believe June is here already?  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  We celebrated my son, Erik's, 25th birthday with a delicious BBQ...but not until after dad and one of his brothers helped him sheet rock the garage ceiling in his new house!  I'm so happy that he's back in California (just an hours drive from me) and that he was able to buy his first home! 

It's Monday so it's time for another "Make-It Monday"!  It's created with one of my FAVORITE stamp sets!  ENJOY!!!

Supplies:

·         Stamp Sets: Waterfront (146386), Mountain Air (15160), Colorful Seasons (143726)

·         Cardstock: Shimmery White (101910), Soft Suede (115318), Mossy Meadow (133676), Very Vanilla (101650)

·         Ink: Balmy Blue (147105), Seaside Spray (150085), Mossy Meadow (147111), Old Olive (147089), Crushed Curry (147087), Early Espresso (147114)

·         Tool & Accessories:

            - Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder (152320)          

    - Sponge Brayer (141714)

    - Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

    - Snail Adhesive (104332)

           

Measurements: 

·         Soft Suede: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, 4” x 5 ½”

·         Mossy Meadow: 3 ¼” x 5 ½”

·         Shimmery White: 3” x 5 ½”, 1” x 3 ¾”

·         Very Vanilla: 4” x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

·         Run 4” x 5 ½” piece of Soft Soft through embossing machine using the Pinewood Plants Embossing Folder.

·         With sponge brayer, pick up Early Espresso ink and roll over “planks” to highlight the grain. Adhere to front of cardbase.

·         With a clean sponge brayer, pick up Balmy Blue ink with Sponge Brayer and roll over entire 3” x 5 ½” piece of Shimmery White several times, then pick up Seaside Spray ink and lightly blend that in until you get the look you want.

·         Stamp moon in Crushed Curry then stamp mountains in Mossy Meadow so they are under the moon. Stamp again to make them very dark.

·         Using Seaside Spray ink, stamp water centered under the mountains, then using Old Olive, stamp grass on both sides of water.

·         With Crushed Curry ink, stamp little dots in water to look like the water is sparkling.

·         Stamp trees on both sides of water and on the bottom corner of the Very Vanilla inside piece with Mossy Meadow.

·         Stamp birds in sky using Early Espresso ink.

·         Adhere stamped Shimmery White piece onto Mossy Meadow piece, then using Dimensionals, adhere that to center of Pinewood Planks piece.

·         With Seaside Spray ink, stamp verse onto  1” x 3 ¾” strip of Shimmery White then adhere to bottom.

·         Enjoy! And remember to....Just Breathe!
