A Week of UPCYCLING! - Day One

Good Morning!  I hope you had a WONDERFUL 4th of July weekend!  Mine was great...spent a lot of time by the water...it was so HOT!!!  My oldest son, daughter and her boyfriend joined us for the festivities!  It's so strange not having all of my family together...but they get older, get jobs and move away. It definitely makes me appreciate the times when we are all together!
Do you remember this photo?
It's finally here...my UPCYCLE week!

Today I want to show you what I did with that Coor's can.

I turned it into a vase by adhering Thick Baker's Twine around the entire can using the new Tear and Tape adhesive. I added some Burlap Ribbon and Natural Chevron Ribbon. I created a flower using the Flower Medallion punch, layering and inking two pieces of designer paper.  Add a few curly pieces of paper and some Linen Thread (or in this one I used Burlap Ribbon that I had already taken apart)...this finishes it off nicely!

I think this will be a really cute gift...and I while back, I made the perfect card to go with it!

Thanks bunches for stopping by! I hope you'll join me tomorrow to see what I will be UPCYCLING next!
