Freshly Made Sketches Challenge

One of my downlines, Stacy, posted a card she had made for a Freshly Made Sketches challenge....she INSPIRED me to give it a try.  Stacy's blog is http://happydaysstampin.blogspot.com/  Check it out when you have time!

Today I am sharing the card I made for this weeks sketch.  My plan is to start participating in some challenges and have some challenges on my blog....BABY STEPS!!!

Here is the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  Their blog is  http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/ - take a moment to go there and see other cards that have been submitted for the challenge.
Here is the card I made for the challenge.  I am giving it to my husband...JUST FOR FUN!  The sentiment stamp "You are the LOVE of my life...you are the cherry to my sundae!", is one I created with the new Circle Monogram Photopolymer stamp (item# 132851)I LOVE IT!!! (psst...I have more of them to share)!  The colors I used are Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Real Red and Basic Black.  The other stamp sets I used are Gorgeous Grunge and Itty Bitty Banners (inside sentiment).  I punched cherries, using the Cupcake Builder punch, from RED GLIMMER PAPER, added some Candy Dots, Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and Basic Rhinestones for FUN and dimension.

To the left is the sentiment UP CLOSE and to the right is the inside of the card!

I really had FUN with this card!  A sketch is a great tool...it helps you put together a card (or scrapbook page) QUICKLY!

I leave you with these thoughts today...

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most: saying something and wishing you had not, or saying nothing, and wishing you had?
