Hi there! I'm Darla and I live in BEAUTIFUL Northern California! I am a mother of seven terrific kids and have been married to my husband for 32 years. I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator since 2010 and love ALL THINGS paper crafting. I also have a scrapbooking retreat business called Scrap Happens Retreats. I love teaching and learning new techniques, sharing ideas, hosting my retreats, being a wife and a mom. Hiking, bicycling, gardening and cooking are a few of my other hobbies. Teacher Appreciate Week

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!! Hope it is a FUN day for you...and that you might find time to enjoy a MARGARITA!!!  This week is Teacher Appreciation Week so I am sharing a card that I made for Kate and Adam's teachers!


At first I was going to use the Dictionary background stamp....but then...my mind read You make the WORLD a better PLACE...(from the Starburst Sayings)  and thought....World background stamp!  I used the Starburst Framelit and the On Film Framelit.  I REALLY LOVE the On Film framelit....I have visions for it and Christmas cards...can't wait!  Perhaps Christmas in July????  I used the Apothecary Accent framelit to gift card holder.  I little ribbon, some candy dots and some Glimmer paper and VIOLA -- It's FINISHED!!!
