So in Love Anniversary Card

Good morning!  YEP...it's still morning! Thanks for checking in! My pastor asked me to make him a card to give to his lovely wife for their anniversary...OF COURSE I said yes!  Here's what I came up with!!
I started this card with a Very Vanilla card base. The first mat is Island Indigo with the second mat cut from Blooms and Bliss Designer Paper.  I cut one of the new Lace Doilies in half and glued it down with little dots of Multipurpose Glue. I cut a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock 1" X 4" and stamped on it using the GUTS of one of the stamps from the So In Love stamp set.  The stamp set and the doilies are both in the Occasions Catalog!

Here's a close up of what I used...see it's that center piece we would normally throw away. I liked the shape and decided to keep it!
Here's a close up of the sentiment that I stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock with Island Indigo ink and punched with my 1 3/8" Circle Punch and adhered to an Island Indigo circle that I punched with my 1 3/4" punch.  The flower is cut with the NEW Succulent Framelits found in the Occasions Catalog!  I added some Lined Thread and a couple of Basic Rhinestones to finish it!

Last...for the inside of the card...this is stamped with the same So in Love stamp set. The leaves are stamped in Mint Macaron and the sentiment is stamped in Island Indigo!  I should have added some Basic Rhinestones to the leaves, but it's too late...I already delivered it!

Well...that's it for today!  THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!  I've had a few TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, so it's no longer morning but it's not dinner time either!  I hope you are INSPIRED to get those stamps out and start creating!

All Things Thanks and Floral Boutique

Hey there!!! It's DINNER TIME at my house now...TOTALLY blogging LATE!  I was blessed  this morning to get my hair washed and blown out by my stylist...and she did it without pay! Some of you know I had surgery last week...a lump removed from my neck...WELL...it made it IMPOSSIBLE to wash my hair and I just felt DISGUSTING!  Dirty hair and old bandages that can't be removed until Friday...YUCK! Let me tell you I have a skip in my step today all because of the KINDNESS of a young woman who served me with such love! Then I ran to the grocery store...to the church...my hubby came home early...just now getting to blog!!!
This card is made with Floral Boutique Designer Series paper, Night of Navy, Whisper White and Daffodil Delight cardstock.  I also used my Stitched Circle framelits along with the BRAND NEW Timeless Tags Thinlits from the NEW Occasions Catalog!
Here is a close up of the card...I used Basic Pearls to bling it up a bit! I cut the Stitched Circle twice...once in Whisper White and once in Daffodil Delight. I then ran my Whisper White circle through my Big Shot using the Timeless Tags Thinlits....ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE and layered it on top of my Daffodil Delight circle!!! When you use this thinlit you'll get some little butterflies...I used one by my sentiment which is from the All Things Thanks stamp set, also from the NEW Occasions Catalog!!

I layered the inside of the card with a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and then a piece of Whisper White cardstock that I had ran through my Big Shot again using the same Timeless Tags thinlit...a REALLY COOL look!

I made this card to thank my hairdresser! She is so AMAZING and I was so grateful! Sorry it took me so long to get it posted it! Hope you are LOVING your Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs!  So many FUN products!

Thank you so much for stopping by and allowing me to share what I love doing with you!  Sleep well tonight!  I'll be back (IN THE MORNING) with another project!

DragonflyDreams and Colour INKspiration

Good morning!! WOW!!! What a GORGEOUS morning! I woke up to snow, about 4 inches (and still snowing) and it is absolutely WONDERFUL!! I've been out creating, my kids are home one more day, my husband came home safe and is back out keeping the power on...LIFE IS GOOD!

I joined a group on facebook called Color INKspiration where they are going to have two monthly color challenges, the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. Click below to join, to be inspired and to inspire others with your creations!

You too can join this facebook group by clicking here
To launch their new facebook group there is a pre-challenge!
There's PLENTY of time to join as it doesn't close until January 10th!
 I hope you'll give it a try!

Here's my creation!  I used a Whisper White cardbase and matted it with a piece of Bermuda Bay designer paper from the Brights Stack.  The two ovals are cut with the Stitched framelits in both Daffodil Delight and Vellum. The dragonfly (my favorite) is cut with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits. The solid dragonfly in Mint Macaron and the lacy top dragonfly in Vellum. I stamped the sentiment from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set onto the Vellum using Memento Black ink!  That cute Daffodil Delight flower is cut with the Succulent Framelits and has a Basic Rhinestone center!

Well...if you know me at all, you know that I LOVE to create on the inside of my card as well! Here I have stamped my image (using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set) in Mint Macaron and Memento Black onto a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Whisper Whited cardstock. I layered it onto a piece of 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock and attached it to the inside of my card!

I JUST LOVE THIS SET!!! You'll definitely be seeing more of it!

Hey...thanks so much for stopping by today!  Sorry I'm a little late...had fun watching the snow, watching my kiddos play in it and making them aebleskivers when they were to cold to play anymore!
