Heart Happiness

Good morning my crafty friends! I hope you all had a GREAT weekend and that you enjoyed every minute of it!  I'm so excited, I have a couple of girlfriends coming over this morning to play so I get to be out in my workshop ALL morning and early afternoon! Plus it's birthday week for one of my girlfriends so we'll have a special lunch!  FUN TIMES!

It's "Make-It Monday" time and I have a fun one to share with you! One might think it's a Valentines day card, but I think it's a great card just to say I love you!  I also thinks the Color Theory Designer Paper makes a FANTASTIC background for this card!  Hope you are INSPIRED!!!

"Make-It Monday": Heart Happiness card created with NEW Stampin' Up! products All images © 1990-2018 Stampin’ Up!®  Alternative: you might also create the same effect of the background by using strips of card stock. Supplies: Stamp Sets -  Heart Happiness (photopolymer 145769); Lovely Friends (photopolymer 143763) Card Stock – Whisper White (100730) Stamp Pads – Tuxedo Black Memento (132708); Berry Burst (144083) Miscellaneous – Color Theory Designer Paper Stack (144193); Big Shot (143263); Sweet & Sassy Framelits (141707); Sponge Daubers (133773); Basic Black Metallic Thread (141695); Glitter Enamel Dots (144200); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)         Measurements:   Whisper White (base): 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½” and folded in half Whisper White – scraps Designer Paper (Berry Burst ombre pattern) – 4 ¼” x 5 ½” Metallic Thread – 23” Instructions: Adhere the designer paper to the card base. Stamp the greeting “love” using Memento ink, slightly off center on the card base. Be sure to leave enough room so the heart will fit. Stamp the striped heart on white scrap cardstock using Memento ink.  Cut out using your scissors.  Place a generous amount of Dimensionals on the back of the heart. Remove the paper backing.  Wrap the Metallic Thread back and forth in a diagonal pattern, adhering it to the Dimensionals as you create the loops.  Adhere the heart/thread to the lower left corner of the card base. Stamp the rose/leaf image on white scrap cardstock using Memento ink.  Color in the flower using a Sponge Dauber and Berry Burst ink.  Die cut the heart using the coordinating size framelit.  Adhere to the far-right side of the striped heart as shown. Add Glitter Enamel Dots as shown. Remember, you do not have to invent the wheel to be creative, just copy this project! Did you make it with your own hands? Then you have created! 14 Days of Love - Day 14

Gads...as my MIL always says...I forgot to blog today! It was a crazy morning!  Cupcakes were delivered...kids to school...hung out with hubby...girlfriends came to play...neighbor taken to the hospital...post office run...forgot to fill out independent study forms for our vacation...had to have kids sign them...picked neighbor up from the hospital...MIL came for dinner and my son and his girlfriend came up for a visit! WHEW! I'm tired!  

My LAST 14 Days of Love treat is a cute card made with the new Whisper White Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes.

I used Fresh Fig cardstock for the first layer of the card with a piece of Painted With Love DSP as the top.  The heart is cut from Berry Burst cardstock using the Sweet & Sassy Framelits.  I also embossed it using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  I stamped BE MINE with the  Sure Do Love You stamp set and Fresh Fig ink.  It is punched out with the 1" Circle punch. Last I tied a bow with the Love Mini Tinsel Trim and glued it to the card, giving it just a bit of bling.

Notice that I also stamped the envelope!

The inside of the card is also stamped using the Sure Do Love You stamp set, again in Fresh Fig. It's very simple...but to the point!!

14 Days of Love - Day 2

Good Morning!!! Hope it's a wonderful day for you today! I'm heading down the mountain for my monthly workshop! We have four fun projects to do and I'm so excited to see everyone! I'm gonna get some grocery shopping done while I'm down there as my teenager's keep saying "THERE'S NOTHING TO EAT IN THIS HOUSE"!!! Do you ever hear this?  I've decided it's because they find EVERYTHING the day after I've shopped and EAT IT!  UGH!

It's DAY 2 of my 14 Days of Love projects, I hope you'll find time to CREATE a little love treat today!

I found these cute little plastic hearts on SmileAmazon!  I filled them with Good & Plenty candies. I wrapped the heart with 1/4" Tear and Tape then added some Berry Burst 1/2" finely woven ribbon and tied it in a bow!  I used the Sweet and Sassy framelits to cut a heart from the Painted with Love Specialty DSP....it is BEAUTIFUL paper!  The CUTE little wooden heart is from the Hearts and Stars wooden elements.  I attached both hearts by threading them with Linen Thread and tying them around the bow of the Berry Burst 1/2" finely woven ribbon. This was SUPER SIMPLE and QUICK to make...but how FUN!!!

14 Days of Love - Day 1

Hello everyone!  Golly I'm SUPER late blogging today!  My husband was home today and I was TOTALLY SIDE TRACKED!  SORRY!  My 5th Annual 14 Days of Love class was held this past Saturday and it was FANTASTIC!  I had 16 ladies and we made 14 FUN projects! I'm having another one next week...it's the first time I've held two and I'm soooo EXCITED!

I'm skipping my Tuesday's Tip Video because I wanted to get started on sharing my 14 Days of Love projects so you have time to create them for your love, your kiddos, your secret pal...WHOEVER you choose to share a little LOVE with! 

Day 1 - I used a Striped Treat bag for this project.  I used my Sweet and Sassy framelits to cut the large heart and embossed it using the Scattered Sequins embossing folder. Next I stamped a heart with the Heart Happiness stamp set and cut it out with the Lots of Love framelits. The sentiment is from the Bloomin' Love stamp set, is stamped in Memento Black ink and cut out with the Classic Label Punch. I attached the Delicate White Doily with Tear and Tape and then attached the hearts and sentiment with Dimensionals.  I added some Silver Bakers Twine and a Clear Faceted Gem for a little bling and closed the bag by punching two holes and tying a bow with Fresh Fig 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon. It can be filled with most anything...perhaps some favorite chocolate?
