Scrappin' Saturday - DIRT

Hello everyone!  Today, I want to share my latest ADORABLE scrapbook layout with you!  

I used Early Espresso 12 X 12 cardstock for each page. The designer paper is from the Share What You Love and Lovely Romance designer paper packs. I also used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits and the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Oh...and don't forget the pearls!  Every muddy little girl needs pearls!!

Garden Impressions and Country Floral - Negative Space

Hello there!  How's it going this morning? Mornings can be so wonderful...but can also be so hectic...today is a good day and I am thankful! I'm starting a new class today! I'm SO EXCITED!!  Before I head out I want to share a with you with a banner like I demonstrated on my Tuesday's Tip video this week!

I LOVE this card...hope you do too!  My card base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock and is scored at 4 1/4".  My first layer is also Whisper White and measures 4" X 5 1/4".  First I cut a circle in it with my Stitched Shapes Framelits then embossed it with the Country Floral embossing folder.  Next, I cut a 3" X 3" piece of Garden Impressions designer paper and adhered it to my card base (where the open circle will let it show) and then I attached the embossed layer with dimensionals.  I cut a banner with my Rectangle Stitched Framelits (see yesterdays video) and stamped the sentiment with VersaMark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I tied a couple threads from the White Flax Ribbon around the side of the first layer, into a bow to finish it off.  Did I say I LOVE it?  I hope you'll give it a try! Tuesday's Tip - Rectangle Stitched Framelit Banners

Hello everyone!  It's time for a Tuesday's Tip video!  This is a tip that I saw on our Demonstrator Planning sight and I thought it was FANTASTIC, so I had to make a video and share it!

"Make-It Monday": HEALING HUGS Floating Image Card

Here's today's "Make-It Monday"

"Make-It Monday": HEALING HUGS floating image card created with Stampin' Up! products
All images © 1990-2019 Stampin’ Up!® 

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets – Healing Hugs (146530); All Things Thanks (143097); You’re Inspiring (145808)
• Card Stock – Thick Whisper White (140272)
• Stamp Pads – Flirty Flamingo (147052); Pear Pizzazz (147104); Black Memento (132708)
• Misc. – Basic Pearls (144219); Paper Snips (103579); Rectangle Stitched Framelits (148551); Dimensionals (104430); Press n’ Seal Food Wrap 

Measurements:  

• Thick Whisper White: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”- 4” x 5 ¼ “- 5 1/2“x 8 ½” for stamped images     
• Thick Whisper White: 4 ¼” x 11” - 3” x 4 ½” for Bottom Mat- scrap for sentiment

       
Instructions:

1. Stamp 5 flowers from Healing Hugs and 5 sets of leaves and cut them out.
2. Lay the flowers on top of the 4” x 5 ¼” mat where you want them.
3. Cut off a piece of Press n’ Seal and lay over flowers securing to mat.
4. Trim excess that is hanging over the mat with your paper snips
5. Run that mat through the Big Shot cutting out your rectangle piece
6. Now you have two designs, one a frame and one a center image for your two cards.
7. Gently lift the Press n’ Seal off the mat with the flowers and leave still attached to the Press n’ Seal. Turn over and add a bunch of Dimensionals to the back of the images.
8. Remove the covers off the Dimensionals and lay the piece back down over the frame to adhere to piece and complete your card.
9. Stamp saying in Black Memento in the center of the frame
10. For the vertical card attach the bottom mat that you have cut using adhesive. Attach the mat that you have cut from the first image piece using Dimensionals. Make sure you have repeated the process of adding Dimensionals to the back of the flowers on this piece too.
11.  Add Pearls to embellish and the sentiment and you are done.

It's Monday....so you know what that means!  It's time for "Make-It Monday" and today is am ADORABLE baby card!  ENJOY!!

"Make-It Monday":  LITTLE ELEPHANT baby card created with Stampin' Up! products All images © 1990-2019 Stampin’ Up!®  There must be something in the water . . . I have three young ladies in my life who are each expecting a boy in April, June, and September. I need a lot of baby cards! Supplies: Stamp Set – Little Elephant 145728 ©; 145725 (w) Card Stock – Whisper White (100730); Balmy Blue (146982) Stamp Pads – Balmy Blue (147105); Smoky Slate (147113) Misc. – Stampin’ Write Subtle Markers (147156); Stitched Rectangle Framelit dies (146747); Subtle Embossing Folder (143706); Aquapainter (103954); Black Stampin’ Write Marker (100082); SNAIL adhesive (104332); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Elephant Builder Punch (145652)          Measurements:  Balmy Blue: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” (score and fold at 4 ¼”) Whisper White: 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”, 4 x 2 ½”, 5 x 3 ½”, 4 x 2 ½”, 4 x 2”             Instructions: Emboss the 5 3/8 x 4 1/8” Whisper White cardstock with the subtle embossing folder. Using Stitched Rectangle Framelits cut out a frame (outer size is 4 ¼ x 3, inner size is 3 ½ x 2 ¼). On the 4 x 2” Whisper White, stamp 2 elephants in Smoky Slate Ink.  Punch out one elephant and use the other to punch a dark ear out of the body. On the 4 x 2 ½ Whisper White, Use the Aquapainter to color wash Balmy Blue Ink from the ink pad in the background. Let dry. Using Markers to color the images for the balloons and greeting. Huff on the colored stamps before stamping to remoisten the ink. Adhere the layers using SNAIL adhesive. Adhere the Elephant with Dimensionals. The ear is layered with Dimensional as well. Hello Cupcake!

Good Morning crafty friends!  Happy Wednesday!  Last night I registered my youngest child for high school.  It's so exciting...but high school FLIES by and I'm a bit sad too! I remember when she graduated pre-school and my oldest graduated high school.  It was the same year and there were so many emotions! Life is just constantly changing...I better learn to change with it!

Now...I have a quick card I've been wanting to share with you since last month!  It's a card my upline Sarah Wills sent me! Her blog is  Sarah's Ink Spot ...check it out when you have time! She is VERY talented!  

I just love it! The colors are great...the design is great and I LOVE that it's a HELLO card!  Cupcakes don't only have to be for birthdays!

Here's what she used!

Tuesday's Tip - Rectangle Stitched Butterfly Beauty Frame

Hello everyone!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your day is going great!  I have a class tomorrow down in Redding and I wanted to share one of the cards we will be making!  Check out my video to see how to create a fun watercolor background and how to use your Rectangle Stitched Framelits & Butterfly Beauty Thinlits to create a gorgeous frame!  ENJOY!!

Here is the actual card!  It has a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” Whisper White cardbase!  I used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits to cut the watercolor paper and the Basic Black Framed. The butterflies are cut with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits!  I LOVE how this card turned out and hope you do too!
