Tuesday's Tip - 14 Days of Love - Day 11

Hello everyone!  It's been a busy morning at my house...bootcamp, video created, kids to school, MIL to the doctor and now I have a new class coming!  I'm so excited and thankful that everything went smoothly!  It's time for Tuesday's Tip and I have another FUN, QUICK, EASY treat holder I want to show you how to make!  It's Day 11 of  14 Days of Love projects!!



Isn't this a great treat holder...even a kid can do it!  HINT...this is a great project for a kids class valentine....they can make it themselves and have FUN doing it!

All you need is some pretty designer paper....I used Foil Frenzy!  Cut a 6" x 2 1/2" piece and score it at 2 1/2" and 3 1/2".  Adhere you candy inside.  I used Berry Burst Metallic Edged ribbon to tie it together and added this cute heart with Linen Thread!  The heart is cut with the Lots of Love Box Framelits and is embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder!

14 Day's of Love - Day 3

Good morning everyone! Hope all is well with you today! I had a FANTASTIC class in Redding yesterday...sixteen ladies attended! It's such a great group...I look forward to it every month! I had lunch with a dear friend afterward then went on to Costco for groceries...parking was a breeze, the store was easy to get around and I didn't have to wait in line...AMAZING! Next, I was on to  Bed,Bath and Beyond for a covered cake plate for my daughter Kate. She's going to start selling her cupcakes in a local coffee shop. I left Weaverville at 8:15 in the morning and arrived back in town about 5:30in the evening! It was a long day but it was a great day! 

It's DAY 3 for my 14 Days of Love treat already. 

I really LOVE how this turned out! I used the Lots of Love Box framelit dies to create this box.  Instead of folding the top flap into the box, I kept it up, tying a bow at the top.  The background paper on the box is from the BEAUTIFUL Painted With Love Designer Series Paper pack. Next I used the Vertical Greetings stamp and stamped the image onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  The stamped image is mounted onto a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock before being added to the box with dimensionals!  I haven't filled it yet, I'm thinking a couple of dark chocolate bars or some honey sticks.  My hubby doesn't eat a bunch of candy so I have to get creative!
