Healing Hugs

Good morning everyone!  Happy Friday!!!  Golly...this week has FLOWN by!  I'm so discombobulated by Thanksgiving being so early this week.  Thanksgiving is also my husbands birthday this year...makes it extra fun!  Today....I'm going to clean my house, fold my clothes and get ready for company and festivities!  Before I get started I want to share one of my November class projects with you!

This card is so beautiful and old fashioned looking!  I just LOVE it!

The Fresh Fig card base is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".  The Whisper White layer is 4" X 5 1/4" and the BEAUTIFUL Country Lane designer series paper is 3 1/4" X 5".  

The flower is from the Healing Hugs stamp set.  I wasn't going to get this set, but I've seen some GORGEOUS cards created with it!  i can't wait to play with it in different colors!  The flower is stamped on to a Stitched Shape Circle with Rich Razzleberry ink.  The leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink. 

After attaching the Country Lane designer paper to the Whisper White layer cardstock, I added some Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon, tying it into a knot. I tied a bow around the know using Linen Thread.  Next I attached it to my card base and added the stamped circle with dimensionals!  Isn't it LOVELY!

14 Days of Love - Day 5

Good Morning everyone!  How was your weekend? Did you get lots done and have lots of fun? I had BUNCHES of FUN! I spent Saturday baking with my daughter Kate. Together we made Lemon-Lemon Cupcakes, Lemon Blueberry Cupcakes, Boston Cream Cupcakes, Peanut Butter Cupcakes with Chocolate Peanut Butter frosting and a Chocolate Lovers Delight Cake!  I had such a great time hanging with my girl! On Sunday, we had a spaghetti feed at church and then a DESSERT AUCTION to raise money for our DOTK (Daughter's of the King) woman's group and IT WAS A BLAST! It was so FUN watching everyone having FUN as the tried to outbid each other for their favorite dessert! It was indeed a GREAT day!

Today, I have my Day 5 project to share with you!  I sure hope you are enjoying these 14 Days of Love treats!

This treat holder is created with a Acetate Card Box that I cut in half.  I closed the end and slid in some Fresh Fig cardstock that has been decorated with Painted with Love DSP.  The sentiment is stamped with the Sure Do Love You stamp set and cut with the Lots to Love Box framelits. The heart is cut with the same framelits and embossed with the Scattered Sequins embossing folder. I filled it with SHREDDIE and plan to add a few chocolates and a gift card for FUN! My husband eats really healthy so I can't do all chocolates, but I can still make it FUN!

 

Isn't this a GREAT treat? It can be used for ANY OCCASION simply by changing the paper! FUN...FUN...FUN!!

Heartfelt Blooms

Hello! Good evening! Hope your day was TERRIFIC! I have been SOOOOO BUSY getting ready for my 14 Day's of Love class this Saturday! It's gonna be FUN!  

Even though it's late in the evening, I want to share another project we will be making in my classes this month!

This card is created with the Heartfelt Blooms Sale-Bration stamp set.  You can choose this stamp set free with any $50 purchase (before tax and shipping).  It is stamped in Fresh Fig ink and layered onto a piece of Fresh Fig cardstock. The card base is Whisper White with a layer of Fresh Florals designer paper, also in Fresh Fig. I also tied a bow using 1/8" Sheer Fresh Fig Ribbon to finish it off! I think its lovely!
