"Make-It Monday" Winter Woods

Good Morning everyone and HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEK!!! Yesterday my son, Erik and his girlfriend, Robin arrived from Arizona!  It's so great to see them and to have an ENTIRE WEEK to be with them.  Adam and Kate have NO SCHOOL this week as well...YAY!  The rest of my children will trickle in Wednesday or Thursday!  I'm in my HAPPY PLACE having my family together! 

It's Monday, so it's time for this weeks "Make-It Monday" inspiration!  I LOVE the Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes! ENJOY!

"Make-It Monday": WINTER WOODS dinner invitation created with Stampin' Up! products

Supplies:

• STAMPS: Winter Woods (147661 Clear, 147658 Wood)
• PAPER: Silver Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes (147900), Joyous Noel 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper,  Gray Granite Cardstock (146983), Whisper White Cardstock (100730)
• INK: Tranquil Tide (147146),  Gray Granite (147118)
• OTHER: Tranquil Tide ¼” Velvet Ribbon (147802), Layering Ovals Framelits (141706), Bunch of Banners Framelits (141488), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (143263), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), a good printer than can handle cardstock (I use a laser printer)

Measurements:  

• Gray Granite: 5"x 3-3/4"
• Whisper White: 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" plus scrap about 3" x 1"
• Tranquil Tide Glimmer Paper: scrap at least 2-1/2" x 1"
• Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon: 3-3/4"

         
Instructions:

1. Run card base through your printer to create the inside of your invitation.
2. Stamp sentiment on Whisper White scrap with Tranquil Tide ink then die cut with one of the Bunch of Banners Framelits. 
3. Die cut oval from Tranquil Tide Glimmer Paper. Adhere sentiment to oval with Mini Glue Dots. Lay oval in center of Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Set aside to dry. Once dry, trim edges of ribbon on a diagonal.
4. Stamp trees with Gray Granite ink onto Whisper White panel. Adhere to Gray Granite layer with SNAIL Adhesive.
5. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere main focal piece onto card front making sure to not have white area showing beneath where it touches the silver border.
6. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere ribbon piece onto card front. Allow to dry.

Winter Woods Birthday Card

Good Morning everyone!  YAY!  It's Friday!  This is my husbands last Friday off...he's back on 5 8's...five, eight hour days instead of 4 10's...four, ten hour days.  They switch with daylight savings!  Anyway...it's our last Friday together until the time changes again.  I'm gonna enjoy every minute of it!!

Today I have another All Occasions card from my Not World Card Making day last month.  This card is created with the Winter Woods stamp set.  The birch trees are stamped five times across a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock. They are stamped in Soft Suede ink.  The stamped image is layered onto a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Soft Suede cardstock.  A piece of Burlap is wrapped around both pieces using Tear & Tape to hold it in place. One bare, Whisper White tree is cut with the In The Woods Framelit Dies and is slipped under the Burlap Ribbon also with Tear & Tape adhesive.  Next, the birthday sentiment from the Best Birds stamp set is stamped onto a piece of Wood Texture 6" X 6" dsp, punched with a circle punch and the edges distressed with Soft Suede ink.  It is adhered to a Soft Suede label punched with the Pretty Label punch and adhered to the card using dimensionals.  Last, a couple of pieces of Linen Thread were slipped under the label (around a dimensional) and tied into a bow.  The base of the card is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  This is a cool and masculine birthday card.  The Winter Woods stamp set isn't just for Christmas!!

Farmhouse Christmas Housewarming Card

Good Morning and how are you!  Hope your day is going well!  It's been a tough morning at my house...parenting is HARD! 

Today I want to share the card I made for my daughter and son-in-law for their housewarming party!  Their new home is just beautiful. We are so proud of them and happy for them! 

My Whisper White card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" with the first Gray Granite layer cut to 4 1/8" X 5 3/8". My stamped Whisper White Layer is 4" X 5 1/4".  I sponged the sky with Bermuda Bay ink and the ground with Lemon Lime Twist ink then stamped the trees with the Winter Woods stamp set in Gray Granite ink.  Next, I used the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set to stamp the house.  I colored it with my Stampin' Blend Markers and cut it out with the Farmhouse Framelits.  The white picket fence is cut with the same framelits and is attached with Multipurpose glue. I attached the house with dimensionals over the fence.  I love how it turned out!  I think she loved it too!  The party was fun...they had a taco truck cater it...GREAT IDEA!!!
