Country Home with PUFF's of cotton...

Hello everyone!  GOLLY...it was COLD this morning...26 degrees!!  It's a BEAUTIFUL fall day and I'm loving it!  I think I'm one of the minority of people who have power in California as the power has been shut off to many places because of high winds and fire threats.  I'm glad I have a generator (but I need to learn how to hook it  up) just in case!!  I'm heading to Weed today for a volleyball game....sure do hope they have power!!

Today's card is another one from my October classes!  It's created with the Country Home stamp set and uses the new Snowfall Accents Puff Paint on the cotton balls.  These are FUN to use....simple add a little dot in each cotton ball, heat it with your heat gun and watch it PUFF!!!  COOL!!

The card base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock. The Early Espresso layer is 2 7/8" X 4 7/8" and the stamped layer is 2 3/4" X 4 3/4".  The pitcher is stamped with Granny Apple Green ink then colored with a Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend.  The floral arrangement is stamped with Gray Granite ink then colored with Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.  Last...we PUFFED the cotton balls!

Isn't it a great card?  I LOVE IT!!

Hey...THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by today! I really do LOVE to share what I LOVE to do with you!  Have a terrific day!

Hello everyone!  I'm super late posting today.  Sorry...no Tuesday's Tip video, my three oldest sons and one of my daughters were here for a visit today!  I so enjoyed having them here!  I'm gonna use this time to get caught up on my 12 Weeks of Christmas projects.  I'm working with some teammates on twelve different projects to share with you all.  I should have started last week, but I forgot so I'm going to post one tonight and one tomorrow and then I will share them each Wednesday until Christmas!  I hope you'll continue to join me and be INSPIRED!  I'll be back next Tuesday with another video!!!

·         Misc. – Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper (150429); Stitched Nested Labels (149638); Copper Foil Paper (142020); Star Designer Elements (150430); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); SNAIL Adhesive (104332)

Measurements

·         Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scrap approx. 4” x 2 ¼”
·         Very Vanilla Cardstock: scrap approx. 3 ½” x 2 ½”
·         Copper Foil Paper: 5 ¼” x 4”
·         Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper: 4 ½” x 4”

Instructions:

1.    Fold the Mossy Meadow card base in half and attach the Copper Foil Paper to the front of the card with liquid glue or snail adhesive.
2.    Take the Brightly Gleaming Designer Paper and cut 4 strips on the long side (4 ½” side). Cut these strips in order so the pattern is continuous. First cut is 1 ½”, second cut is 1 ¼”, third cut is 1”, and last cut is ¾”.
3.    Lay these strips over the Copper Foil so there is an even space between them and the ends, about an 1/8”. Glue them in place- I like the liquid glue for this step.
4.    Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla and die cut with Stitched Nested Labels. Also, die cut a layering label with the dies in Mossy Meadow Cardstock.
5.    Glue the two labels together and add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to card front.
6.    Lastly, add three Star Designer Elements to the sentiment.

Here are a few alternative to try with the same designer paper and sketch!

Merry Moose Christmas Card

Good morning everyone!  Happy Friday!  Today's a big day at my house!  It's homecoming for one thing and my daughter is riding her horse in the parade (her first one)...then again at the football game for the National Anthem. Our town shuts the highway down (Highway 299 is our main street) for this parade and the 4th of July parade...it's REALLY COOL and NOSTALGIC!

Next...my sons are all coming up, Erik is flying in from Phoenix and Trevor is picking him up from the airport to drive up here.  Seth will also be here tonight  and they and their dad are hiking into the Trinity Alps tomorrow for a three or four day hunting trip.  There base came will be at Adam's Lake.  My hiking book describes it as a frog pond. It's a small lake, only about an acre but so pretty as  is the hike!  Anyway...my husband isn't much into hunting but he's a really good dad and loves hanging out with our kids.  I'm certain they will have a great time and also shed some tears as our Adam will be missing. We are so grateful for the knowledge that we will see him again in eternity!

Today I wanted to give you a sneak peak of one of the cards we'll be making at my World Card Making Class tomorrow!  I can't wait!  I think I've decided on serving Taco Soup!

I LOVE this card!  The base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Layer one is a 3 7/8" X 5 1/8" piece of Early Espresso cardstock.  The Garden Green gingham is from the Toile Tidings designer paper series and measures 3 3/4" X 5".

I used the Merry Moose stamp set to stamp the tree in Garden Green and the sentiment in Real Red onto a stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The moose is stamped onto a piece of Soft Suede cardstock with Early Espresso ink the cut out with the Moose Punch.  The circle and the moose are both attached with dimensionals.  The bow is tied with Real Red Curly Ribbon and attached with a glue dot!

This card is SOOOO CUTE!!!  I LOVE the Moose Bundle! You can get it for only $31.50...it's item #153015 and you can add it to your card by clicking on SHOP NOW at the top right of my blog!

Snow Front - FALL SCENE

Hello everyone!  Were you able to follow along on the Blog Hop last night?  It was a GREAT hop with lots of TERRIFIC ideas and inspiration!  I had a class last night so I've been prepping all day today for my World Card Making Day event this Saturday!  I have everything cut and ready to go...now to decide on my menu!

First...I want to share some more inspiration with you!  !

I LOVE the Snow Front stamp set...you already know this!  I used it for class again this month but instead of a mountain scene I created a fall scene.  The 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base is Mint Macaron.  The stamped images is a 3" X 3" piece of Whisper White cardstock and is layered onto a 3 1/8" X 3 1/8" piece of Soft Suede cardstock. I tied a piece of Linen Thread into a bow around both pieces of cardstock and attached it to the card base with dimensionals!

I rolled the sky with a sponge brayer and Mint Macaron ink.  The ground is brayerd wtih Pear Pizzazz ink.  The images are stamped with Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Merry Merlot and Mango Melody inks.  The sentiment is from the Painted Harvest stamp set and is stamped in Soft Suede ink.  I LOVE how this card turned out!  I can almost feel the leaves falling!  Fall is my FAVORITE season...the colors are so beautiful and this card catches that beauty!

If you need any of these supplies and you don't have a demonstrator already or are a current customer, please go to my store by clicking on SHOP NOW at the top right of this blog! Have FUN shopping!

THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!  Have a FANTASTIC rest of your day!  Hope you find a few moments to create!!
