"Make-It Monday" Toile Christmas

Hello everyone!  Happy Monday!  How was your weekend?  Did you do any creating?  I made about 80 Christmas cards and have about 100 more to go!  It felt good to be creating!  I haven't done anything else...I still need to shop...decorate...get our tree...YIKES...I am SO BEHIND!!! Crazy thing is I'm not stressed at all!  It always comes together and I just want to enjoy the real reason for the season!

Hey...it's Monday and I want to share a love "Make-It Monday" Tutorial!  ENJOY!!

"Make-It Monday" Toile Christmas

·         Stamp Sets: Toile Christmas (150469)    

·         Cardstock: Mossy Meadow (133676). Very Vanilla (101650), Copper Foil Sheet (142020)

·         Ink: Night of Na)vy (147100), Crumb Cake (147116), Tuxedo Black Memento (132708), VersaMark (102283), Stampin’ Write Marker Cherry Cobbler (119681)

·         Blends:  Mossy Meadow (148547), Crumb Cake (144601), Cherry Cobbler (144598), Pumpkin Pie (144599)

·         Designer Paper

Measurements: 

·         Card Base: Mossy Meadow Cardstock, 5 ½ x 8 ½, Scored @ 4 1/4

·         Cardstock #2:  Very Vanilla, 5 ¼ x 4

·         Cardstock #3:  Copper Foil Sheet – small piece

·         Designer Paper

Instructions:

·         Score Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 4 ¼, fold

·         On Woodland Embossing Folder ink the background area with Night of Navy, insert Very Vanilla into embossing folder and run through Big Shot, cut to 5 ¼ x 4.  Adhere to front of card base with Multi-Purpose Glue

·         Stamp on Very Vanilla cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink the cardinal, with Crumb Cake ink stamp the branch

·         With Blends color the cardinal and the branch. Die cut the cardinal and branch

·         For sentiment – Prepare a piece of Very Vanilla with Embossing Buddy, stamp sentiment with VersaMark, sprinkle area with Copper Embossing Powder and heat with Heat Tool, when cool die cut the sentiment on the Big Shot

·         Die cut the embellishments on the Copper Foil Sheet

·         Cut length of Tea Room Ribbon approx. 12 “ long.  With Cherry Cobbler Marker using the large brush end color the white center of the ribbon, set aside to dry

·         Adhere with Multipurpose Glue the branch 

·         Adhere Mini Dimensional to the back of the Cardinal and apply to the branch

·         Adhere the colored ribbon 1” from bottom of the embossed piece of Very Vanilla cardstock tie simple bow and adhere bow down with Glue Dots

·         Remove 3 of the sprigs from a sheet under the ribbon and bow

·         Adhere the sentiment with mini dimensionals the upper right corner of the face of the card

·         Adhere the die cut copper foil embellishments one under the ribbon and tail feathers of cardinal and a small one under the sentiment
