Good afternoon everyone! I hope your Friday is going PERFECTLY for you! I'm participating in a Facebook Hop tonight and I want to share my project with you! Our theme is RED, WHITE and BLUE...some of my FAVORITE colors! I went out to my workshop this morning with a plan....one turned out to look more like Christmas (you'll be seeing it later!)...next the proportions weren't right...FINALLY I saw my Pocketful of Sunshine bundle and thought blue jeans...sunglasses and sunshine! It was perfect because I didn't want to do a patriotic card because the fourth has passed, but I totally wanted to do summer!!
Here's what I came up with! I used the Pocket framelits to cut the sun in Crushed Curry, the pocket in Pacific Point and the sunglasses in Real Red. Before cutting the pocket and the sunglasses I stamped the details using the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set, in Memento Black ink. The sentiment in the lower right corner came from the same set and is stamped with Crushed Curry ink. We were also asked to use ribbon, wood and/or banners on our project as well so I chose to use the Cherry Cobbler 1/4" Double Stitched ribbon. Last, I added some Glitter Enamel Dots to finish it off! I LOVE IT!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll join the Facebook Hop by clicking on the Facebook Icon to the right! Please take a moment to LIKE our pages and COMMENT on our projects! I'm going to do a random drawing for any comments here on my blog and on my Facebook page and send my project to the winner! (I've never done a drawing before so I'm SUPER EXCITED and HOPING I get lots of COMMENTS and SHARES!) The drawing will be on Monday, July 10th at NOON!!
Have a FANTASTIC day and weekend!!!
