Sending Love and Sealed With Love

Hello and Happy Friday! I hope you all enjoy your weekend! Can you believe that January is almost OVER! The older I get...the faster time flies!

I have a quick post to share with you today...another one from my January workshops...to get you thinking about Valentine's Day!

This cute little bag is quick and easy to make! You'll need a 6" X 6" piece of designer paper, (I used the Sending Love Designer Paper Pack). It's item #142733, it's $10.00 and it's Stampin' UP!'s most popular item right now! You get 48 double sided pieces of 6" X 6" pieces of paper so you can make 48 of these cute little bags! My daughter and I are going to make them for her class at school and fill them with candy!

To make the bag score your paper at 1 3/8", 2 3/4", 4 1/8" and 5 1/2". Turn the paper and score it at 1 3/8" only.

I used Mini paperclip and tied a piece of Linen Thread around it to close the bag.  I stamped my sentiment using the Sealed with Love stamp set, onto Whisper White cardstock and cut it into a banner.  Next I used a scrap of the Sending Love designer paper to cut another banner and slipped both banners under the paperclip!  CUTE and SIMPLE!!

Here you can see the score lines (a different paper from the same pack) and how I cut the bottom of the bag up to the 1 3/8" score line.  I also cut the small, rectangle corner all the way out!
Just another look at the cuts! Next you just fold on the score lines, fold it and adhere it together.  Fold all the flaps up at the bottom and adhere (I use Tear and Tape for strength). Pinch the bag together at the top and put the mini paperclip on to keep it closed...AFTER you've filled it with your treat...OF COURSE!!!

Well..that's it for today! Have a WONDERFUL weekend, enjoy your family and friends and FIND TIME TO CREATE!!!
