Picnic with You!

Good Morning everyone! Here we are...Friday again...time just flies by!  I hope you have FUN plans for your weekend! It's the last few days of Easter break for us so I think we're gonna go down the mountain to see a movie, have lunch and do a little shopping!  As much as I love our little mountain town, it's always good to get out of it for a little bit!  Yesterday I went down with a girlfriend...just for fun...no purpose!  It was so much FUN!  We went to Hobby Lobby and to a store called Tuesday Mornings and a couple others.  We had a blast!  Thanks GIRLFRIEND...for the day out!!!

Today I want to share a card that my upline Sarah Wills sent me!  It's made with a set that I haven't used yet and it is SO CUTE!!

This card is created with the Picnic with You Bundle. Isn't it CUTE?  I just LOVE it!  What a FUN way to say THANK YOU!!

Tomorrow my Stampers For Others Facebook group) are having a Facebook Hop at 5pm PST.  I hope you'll have time to follow along, like our pages and leave comments of encouragement!  I'll link back to my blog of course for the how to's!!

Picture Perfect Party

Good morning friends! Happy Thursday! Dang...this week has flown by! I spent the day in my workshop yesterday...had a class last night...enjoyed my time with friends, visiting and creating! I LOVE what I do! My next class is my Waterfront class...all cards made with the Waterfront stamp set, it's Saturday, April 14th.  I'm SUPER EXCITED about this class because this is such a VERSATILE set!  You're gonna be amazed at what you can do with this stamp set!  I've decided to do a video series of the cards we create in this class so STAY TUNED!

Today's card is one that we made in last nights class...I hope you'll give it a try!

This fun birthday card is simple and quick to make!  It has a Whisper White card base with a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Berry Burst cardstock as it's first layer. The next layer is a 3 7/8" X 5 1/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock and on top of that is a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Picture Perfect Party designer paper.  Before attaching the last three layers to my card base, I wrapped a piece of Berry Burst Metallic Edged ribbon and tied it in a bow.  I also used Linen Thread to tie a bow around the Berry Burst Bow.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Banners stamp set and is stamped in Tranquil Tide.  I hand cut the banner end and attached a Clear Faceted Gem to the other end.  Because the Picture Perfect Party designer paper is 6" X 6" there is a strip left over which I trimmed to fit inside of the card! I think it's a FUN and FESTIVE birthday card and is EASY to create!  I hope you'll give it a try!

Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by today!  I LOVE sharing what I do with all of you...it keeps me creating!  Have a FANTABULOUS day!!

Wherever You Go and Dandelion Wishes!

Good morning everyone!  DANG...I'm freezing this morning!  I can't quite figure  out how I can be boiling most of the time but then...on occasion...I'm like ice!  I want to put gloves on, but that doesn't work well in my workshop!  I have a class tonight and have to finish getting ready for it...guess I'll have to crank the heat...then I'll be boiling again and will have to turn on the air...ohhh...the life of a woman!

Hey...I have another FUN card that I made with the Wherever You Go stamp set! I LOVE dandelions (not in my grass...oh...I don't have grass because my husband doesn't want grass, but I want grass...whoops back to card making)! When I first got this set I saw a dandelion, after blooming and ready for a wish!  I've finally taken the time to create it!

For this card I have a Whisper White base with a 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" Basic Black layer and and a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Whole Lot of Lovely designer paper.  I cut a 3 1/2" X 3 1/2" piece of Crushed Curry cardstock and used the Wherever You Go stamp set to create the dandelion with White embossing powder and VersaMark.  I then mounted the stamped image onto a 3 3/4" X 3 3/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock and mounted that onto the card base.  The "MAKE A WISH" sentiment is PERFECT and is found in the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.  I doubled a piece of Linen Thread and tied a bow around the sentiment after hand cutting the banner. Last I glued a flower from the Touches of Nature wooden elements.  Notice that I turned it over so the white side is showing not the wood side.  I LOVE how this card turned out!  I'm thinking I might add this to my class this month! It's super FUN!

Ok...I'm off to prep and clean!  Have a FANTASTIC day and  THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!

Tuesday’s Tip - Masking Technique

Hello everyone!  Hope you day is sailing by smoothly! It's time for Tuesday's Tip! I hope you enjoy today's video...I'm a bit embarrassed because I kept holding the stamp sets the wrong direction! I'm sorry...I need to practice my video taping, I was a bit CONFUSED!  Alas...I'm sharing this because I just don't have a minute to make another one today!  This morning I had a class, and I have a class tomorrow night that I'm getting ready for and right now...after I've posted, I'm heading to mow my mother-n-laws grass!  BUSY DAY!

If you've been following my blog you saw the Easter card that I posted on Sunday. Well..I've had a few questions on how I did it, so today I want to share with you the Masking Technique.  I hope you'll give it a try! I'm REALLY SORRY for my video mess ups too!!

Here's another look at the final card!

"Make-It Monday" Wherever You Go

Good Morning and Happy Monday!  I hope your Easter weekend was WONDERFUL!  My kiddos are on vacation this week...YAY...no school!!  I always love having them home. I'm gonna spend one day organizing my kitchen with my little baker's help! I'm trying to empty out some cupboards so she can have her own space! She's selling lots of cupcakes!  Adam has a couple yard jobs scheduled so I'll be running him around and it's suppose to rain for a few days.  Today is beautiful and sunny so I'm gonna just ENJOY it...work in my workshop a bit, play a little ball and mess with Kate's horse...maybe even ride my new bike! Nothing but fun ahead for the next few days!!

It's time for this weeks "Make-It Monday"!  It's created with the same stamp set that I used on yesterday's Easter card...Wherever You Go!  ENJOY!!!

Cross of Hope Framelit Dies - Happy Easter

Hello everyone! I hope you have a wonderful Easter filled with joy and peace...surrounded by those you love!

I have never sent an Easter card, but yesterday I saw a BEAUTIFUL card on a Demonstrator Facebook page and I was INSPIRED!

This card is so BEAUTIFUL and is was created by Fanny Stafford. I really wanted to recreate it just as it is using the Painted Harvest stamp set, but I just didn't have time!  When I saw this card I decided to make cards to give to the women at my church.  I needed something quick but beautiful because I had several to make.  I'm still going to make this exact card...but now I have a little time to do it!
Here is the card that I came up with!  I used the Cross of Hope framelit dies to cut a mask of Thick White Cardstock then tacked it to a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Once it was down, I used the Wherever You Go stamp set to stamp the Crushed Curry sunburst! Next I used the Amazing You stamp set to stamp the Pumpkin Pie part of the sunburst. I used Daubers to fill in the Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry areas...making it look more like the sun.  I removed the mask and VIOLA!  I used an old sentiment, but one of the sentiments from the Hold Onto Hope stamp set would work perfectly too! I love how it turned out!

Well...I've got to get ready for church! It will probably be crowded, so I have to be ready on time!  You all have a WONDERFUL day!
