FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Three

Envelope Box

To make this box you simply place a 6x6 piece of designer ( this is Polka Dot on Parade) on the Envelope Punch Board. Score and punch at 3 inches, then score again at 3 ½ inches.  Rotate and repeat two more times.  Rotate a third time but only punch (don’t score).  Adhere with sticky tape or snail adhesive (tombo).  Decorate as you wish.  I used the Love You to the Moon stamp set.  Fill it with gum, chocolate etc. and this cute little 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 card!

FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Two

Another simple treat to show your love!  For this I used a 4x6 cellophane bag, filled it with candies, cut a topper with my Apothecary Framelits and decorated it!  If you notice I stitched around the circle by using the Essentials piercing pack and stitched with Whisper White Bakers Twine.  The colors I used are Bermuda Bay Whisper White and Real Red.  The sentiment is from the Perfect Pennants stamp set in the Occasions Catalog.  I added a small heart punched out of glimmer paper and some ribbon to finish it off!!! QUICK and EASY!!!!

FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day One

Hi there everyone!  ARE YOU READY FOR SOME LOVE?

As I promised I am sharing my FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE projects with you starting today!  I hope to inspire you and get your CREATIVE JUICES  FLOWING!

Today's project is a VERY SIMPLE one....we made it at my workshop last night and my ladies loved it!  It's a fun tube to fill with goodies!

This tube is SIMPLE to make...and with seven kids and one husband to show a little lovin' to...I NEED SIMPLE!!!  You simply take a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sheet of cardstock.  I used Real Red for this project!  Place a piece of sticky tape on the short end and roll it to adhere to the other end.  Then you place another piece of sticky tape to the bottom...adhere it and crimp it.  Decorate as you desire.  I used the LOVE YOU MORE stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.  I love to pair Real Red with Pool Party, so I punched out the back mat with the scallop punch.  I finished it off with some Basic Pearls and Rhinestones, a glimmer paper small heart, punched holes in the top and tied together with ribbon.  I haven't decided what to fill it with...it will be a surprise for my LOVED ONES!!!

De-Solv-it.

Today I want to share with you a NEW DISCOVERY!   I have been wanting to clean the sticky off of my scissors.  Some of them are difficult to open they are so sticky!   I have tried a few different things but have not found any success UNTIL NOW!  I googled it...(google is my friend)....and here is what I found!   

De-Solv-it!

I absolutely LOVE it!!! I removed all of the sticky residue from my scissors.  Then I decided to try it on my mat...and it worked!   Then I tried t on my 6' tables....they have had sticky goop on them forever...I have scrubbed and scrubbed!  With this product I simply sprayed the spots on my table and let is sit for a few minutes, went back and the sticky stuff just wiped off....NO SCRUBBING!!! I was amazed.  I then just had to rinse everything off with warm water and my tables look almost new...and it smells good!      

Come back tomorrow...I will be starting my FOURTEEN days of LOVE...Valentine ideas.  My plan is to give my husband a token of my love EVERYDAY beginning February 1st and I will be sharing those ideas with you!  I am even thinking about doing it for my kiddos...but with seven of them...I BETTER GET STARTED!

I have just a quick post today...SORRY I missed yesterday...but I was CRAZY BUSY!!!  Today I just wanted to show off this BEAUTIFUL card that a girlfriend made!   I LOVE it!!! She even used a real twig!  VERY CLEVER!!!  I love it when talents are shared and given away!
