Day Eight

Day three of my retreat....I'M STUFFED!!!!
Day Eight:  This  is one of my favorite days....I love the Candlelight Christmas designer paper punched with the Decorative Lable punch and layered onto Early Espresso cardstock punched with the same punched and stretched!  The JUMBO pearls are PERFECT and the imaged was created with Versamark and Early Espresso embossing powder!

I wanted to share another NO ADVENT CALENDAR idea with you...so keep scrolling down.....
This is a gift that I shared with each of the ladies that attended my November retreat!  It is a Frappuccino which I removed the lable from...made a topper with circle punches and a stamp that says...FOR YOU with Rhinestones.  The bottle is filled with chocolate coved almonds, yogurt coverd raisins and chocolate coverd coffee beans.  I then tied it with Scalloped Tulle Ribbon in the Holiday Catalog!  Fun and simple treat...along with some SU brads!  I will be posting more SIMPLY, FUN and INEXPENSIVE gift ideas as we go!  HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Day Six and Seven....ALL CAUGHT UP!!!

This is day two of my retreat in Shingletown, California!  Having FUN with a great group of ladies!  Hope you are getting some inspiration as you follow along with the making of  this advent calendar!  Have a WONDERFUL day!!

Day Six:  The simple elegance of pearls and rhinestones sets off number six, which was embossed with Cherry Cobble embossing powder.  I used the scalloped square punch for the VERY Vanilla layer that is under the Old Olive layer.  The Early Espresso layer is made with the same scalloped square punch...stretched in BOTH directions by cutting two punched scallops in have and then cutting each end at an angle....looks like it was made that way!
Day Seven:  The snowflake was cut using the ASnow Flurry Die Cut and my BIGSHOT...of my FAVORITE tools!  MOST USED TOO!!!  A glimmer brad keeps it simple and FUN!

Day Three...Four...Five....

Today I am headed to Shingletown, California to host my last scrapbooking retreat of 2012!  Check out my website for more information... http://www.scraphappensretreats.com/  I LOVE my retreat business....I have met some AMAZING women!  I am VERY blessed to have a business which incorporates my two favorite things....PAPER CRAFTING AND COOKING!  This is also what brought becoming a demonstrator for Stampin' Up into my life!  I originally started as a hobbyist so that I could get the discount on things to make for my retreats and for prizes and gifts for my ladies.....and then....I feel IN LOVE with making cards and three dimensional goodies!  I have a blast doing what I do!!! NOW onto DAY THREE!
Day Three: I heat embossed with black embossing powder for a night time effect.  The layers of paper are Whisper White, Old Olive, Early Espress and Real Red with designer paper from the Polka Dot Parade pack.
Day Four:  Imade the tree using...again Polka Dot Parade designer paper in Old Olive.  I cut the shape with Stockings Accent Diecut...you have just as easily used the tree in the Holiday Framelits Collection....back it with Early Espresso for a showdow effect!  Last you CAN'T go wrong with a Rhinestone and Glimmer paper....
Day Five:  Red and Silver Glimmer paper make number five come alive!  I stamped the image with Pewter embossing powder...ANOTHER FAVORITE!!!  Hope you are having FUN....following along!

Day One...Day Two....CATCHING UP

Day One:   I used Real Red, Whisper White and Early Espresso cardstock.....and yes that's correct the 25 and Counting Stampset.  The silver embossing powder shines...I LOVE IT!!!  I also used a brad from the Antique Brads.  The bottom layer of circles were punched from Candlelight Christmas designer paper in the Holiday catalog.

Day Two:  I LOVE to attach things with the VERY COOL safety pins in the Vintage Trinkets set.  Number two is layered over Early Espresso punched with the Postage Stamp punch, pinned onto 1/4" Real Red Grossgrain ribbon and attached to a circle of Silver Glimmer Paper.
