Hi there! I'm Darla and I live in BEAUTIFUL Northern California! I am a mother of seven terrific kids and have been married to my husband for 32 years. I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator since 2010 and love ALL THINGS paper crafting. I also have a scrapbooking retreat business called Scrap Happens Retreats. I love teaching and learning new techniques, sharing ideas, hosting my retreats, being a wife and a mom. Hiking, bicycling, gardening and cooking are a few of my other hobbies. Beautiful Ride

Hello Friends!  I have a QUICK card to share with you this morning!  I'm off to my workshop in Redding!  A couple of weeks ago I was asked to make a card for our pastor, as the church was giving him a new car (for work)...so I quickly had to come up with something.  It's not my best work, but it worked! I guess when I'm put on the spot...by creative juices don't flow a well. None the less..he LOVED the card...and the car. His son nicknamed his old card the Pastormobile (...this six year old is a FAN of Batman...and the BATMOBILE).  I used the Beautiful Ride stamp set, the Brick Wall embossing folder and some Washi Tape...the sentiment I made on the computer!
