ICS Blog Hop - It's A Guy Thing

Our theme is It's A Guy Thing so I thought it would be great to make a Father's Day card.

My trees are stamped with the Wisteria Wishes stamp set!  YEP...I simply stamped the wisteria upside down using Shaded Spruce and Evening Evergreen inks.  The sentiment is heat embossed using the Celebrating You stamp set.  It's a fabulous sentiment set.  I also used the Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies and the Banners Pick a Punch.

"Make-It Monday" - Flowering Tulips

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Mine was incredible!  My oldest son was married t a beautiful woman and our family grew!  All of my children (and new granddaughter) were there to celebrate!  I couldn't have planned a better Mother's Day if I had tried!  I'm exhausted but full of JOY!

3-D Thursday - He's the Man BBQ Sauce Bag

Hello everyone!  Welcome to 3-D Thursday!  You are going to absolutely LOVE today's project!  It's masculine and it is FUN!!!  Our designer this week is the very creative  Jo Anne Hewins at Love 2 Create.  I can't wait to make one!  It's a great Father's Day gift, but also a great stocking stuffer for Christmas or favor gift at a BBQ.  I LOVE IT!

Tuesday’s Tip - Faux Linen Technique

Hello and welcome to today's Tuesday's Tip Video!  I love trying different techniques and this technique is fun and simple!  I need to do some more it it!

For this card I used the Lovely You stamp set and
the Hues of Happiness designer series paper.

For this card I used the Uniquely Artistic and Wildflower Path stamp sets.
 I also used Evening Evergreen and Orchid Oasis inks.

"Make-It Monday" - Wildflower Path Tutorial

Hello there and HAPPY MONDAY!  How'd your weekend go?  Mine was delightful!  All but one of my adult kids made it home for family dinner on Saturday night and were able to meet their new niece, Prism Jubilee!  She is absolutely precious and I am LOVING being a grandma!  I can't wait to see what she calls me!  My kids called their grandparents (on dad's side) Grandma and Grandpa Katie (after their dog whose name was Katie).  It started with our first and stuck with all seven!  Here's my new favorite picture (even though I didn't put any make-up on)!  I just adore this precious little gift from God!

Ok, on to paper crafting!  It's Monday, so I have a "Make-It Monday" tutorial for you to try!  I love the way the stamp was used to create a frame...SO CREATIVE!
