Scrapbooking with Frosted Floral and Share What You Love Designer Paper

Hello there and how are you all today?  I'm grateful today for blue skies and good girlfriends!  What a BEAUTIFUL DAY!  A couple of friends drove up the mountain...sat in two road work stops... a ONE HOUR and FORTY minute drive (which normally takes less than an hour)...just to spend a four or five hours visiting and creating with me!  I am SOOOO BLESSED!!  I feel rejuvenated! Thanks for pouring encouragement and energy back into me today ladies!!

I've been wanting to share a scrapbook page I made a couple of weeks ago...and what better time to share than now!

This is my youngest daughter, Kate.  She LOVED to play dress up!  She was ALWAYS hot too...so it didn't bother her at all to go out in the snow in her ballerina outfit!  Don't those snow boots go well with the outfit?

The backdrop of this page is from the Frosted Floral designer paper pack.  This paper is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!  Next  cut some scrap strips from Share What You Love dsp, Basic Black cardstock and Gray Granite.  I cut them into banners and adhered them to the 12 X 12 piece of Frosted Floral dsp.  The photo is mounted on a piece of Whisper White cardstock with a Granite Gray and a Basic Black Mat!  I used the Blizzard Thinlit dies to cut several snowflakes from the new Sparkle Glimmer paper and attached them with dimensionals!  I LOVE how it turned out!  It's simple and doesn't take away from the photo, which is the most important part of scrapbooking!

Here are a couple of close-ups!

Here's what I used!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you have a WONDERFUL rest of your day!  I have so much scrapbooking to catch up on...I bet you do too!  I'll be sharing more ideas with you so keep checking back in!

Blizzard Christmas Card

Hello there and HAPPY THURSDAY AFTERNOON!!! I spent the morning out in my workshop creating!  I've really been wanting to make some Christmas cards so that's what I focused on!  My company wasn't able to make it today so I had to find something to do...I'd already cleaned the bathrooms lol!!!

I think my FAVORITE new Stampin' UP! tool is the Big Shot Embossing Mats!  They are TOTALLY affordable at $15.00 and can turn any framelit into an embossing folder!

My Whisper White card base is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2".  The Night of Navy mat is 4" X 5 1/4".  The Whisper White mat is 3 3/4" X 5" and is embossed with the Blizzard Thinlit Die using the Embossing Mats!  I also used the Blizzard Thinlit Die to cut a bunch of snowflakes all at once from our new Sparkle Glimmer paper.  I attached three of them with Mini Dimensionals then added a Faceted Gem in the middle.  I used Night Of Navy Gingham 1/2" ribbon and Real Red 1/8" solid ribbon.

The sentiment is from the Great Joy stamp set.  It is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and cut with the Classic Label punch!  I attached it with Mini Dimensionals, slipping it underneath a snowflake!

I LOVE it! Clean and simple...easy but unique!  I LOVE making Christmas cards!

Well...that's it for today!  I'll be back early tomorrow as I have some projects ready!  YAY!! It's so nice to be ahead of things once in a while!  THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!  Have a FANTASTIC rest of your day!
